The rankings are based on the data presented by over 21,000 public schools from the District of Columbia and all the states apart from Nebraska as the information provided by it was not enough to be introduced into the list.

A recent study conducted by Royal Society of Arts (RSA) showed these children are disadvantaged education-wise when their families are moving to areas with lower rents. The study also suggests that the amount of mid-year admissions is currently on the rise, as public spending and benefits are getting trimmed. This means more pupils switch schools outside the time when they accept new admissions.

Thus, it is rather good news about the education system in the United States. According to officials, a constant increase in the number of graduates has been caused by the fact that the majority of employers require a high school diploma. Thus, young people who want to get opportunities for further development cannot but graduate from high school. At the same time, people who decided to drop out of high schools encounter a number of difficulties while searching for a job. It was estimated that the number of undergraduates who dropped out and didn’t get their diploma decreased compared to the figures of last year.
