The Executive MBA Program Represents the Basic Leadership Concepts

Executive MBA Program

A group of 10 members including managers, bankers and advisers made efforts to solve an extraordinary problem in Brittany. They used a plastic oil drum, a plank made of wood, a few ropes and a metal grid in order to cross 2 pits and find their wounded associate. Although it seemed to be quite easy for the team of Indian, French, Belgian and German citizens to achieve the goal of this exercise at the very beginning, it became much more difficult for them to cooperate with each other a little later. Dartmouth Best Graduates Will Go to Wall Street

Dartmouth Wall Street

Wall Street, the financial district located in New York City, seems to be so attractive that it sometimes dims even the sharpest minds of young Americans. On June 10, 2012, there was a Commencement Day at Dartmouth College, where 4 graduates with the highest academic rates of an average 4.0 grade gave their farewell speeches. 3 of them are going to work at the leading investment banks on Wall Street, while 1 will start building his career at the huge consulting firm cooperating with those banks.

David Rogg, one of these graduates, noted that some people such as supporters of the Occupy movement on the college campus had a negative attitude to the financial affairs, but the majority of them still believed it was a highly positive branch. He and his fellow Jie Zhong have a job at Goldman Sachs. Wills Begor, the third valedictorian, will work at Morgan Stanley, while Glynnis Kearney, the fourth one, will be an employee at McKinsey & Company.

According to Mr. Begor, some of his college fellows are not interested to work on Wall Street much, but he believes learning about financial affairs is an expansion of the Dartmouth academic challenges. He also added that he would be an employee of Morgan Stanley only for 2 years because he had already been admitted to Harvard Business School. He will start studying there in 2014.

As for Dartmouth students who graduated in 2011, 12% of them chose to go into financial services, a sphere taking the 3rd place in the most profitable business rate after education and consulting. The 2 winners of Sophia Freund Prize at Harvard in 2012 for highest grades will go to medical and law schools.
